Growing up on the coast of New England, my father would tell me that the smooth, white stones that dotted the shoreline were lucky stones. I would be thrilled when I discovered a perfectly round stone, experiencing the joy of showing my father my prized trophy.
While my father has since passed, I still enjoy exploring the shoreline with my beach-loving dog Sandy to see what treasures the tides will reveal that day. My favorite are the exquisite, colorful shards of sea glass that fill various bowls and jars throughout my home on Boston's North Shore. Or sometimes, if I'm lucky, I find ceramic shards, their graceful antique etchings revealing whispers of a story from long ago. Each exquisite piece is gift from the sea, as well as a reminder of its unrelenting power and timeless beauty.
My seascape windows are thoughtfully designed to capture these extraordinary gifts of the sea in a way that allows their exquisite beauty to shine through. My hope is that when you look through one of these windows, you will find your own place of peace and tranquility -- just as nature intended.
